Peaceful Cottage close to Dunstan and Craster on the Northumberland Coast

Wrens Nook is a charming comfortable holiday cottage on a working farm, just outside Dunstan village, a few minutes stroll to the coast and close to Craster in Northumberland. It's suitable for four guests.

It is one of a small collection of cottages built for farm workers in the 1800s and is set in a secluded location a short walk from the sea in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The Coast and Castles cycle route can be accessed straight from the front door. The spectacular ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle are a few minutes stroll away, as is the long distance coastal footpath of St. Oswalds Way. There are several other footpaths, including the tree lined farm track which serves the cottages and also provides a pleasant walk of ten minutes to the local pub.

Inside it is remarkably spacious. The kitchen diner seats five comfortably and is well equipped with a modern ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.  Upstairs the sitting room has comfortable sofas with views across the fields to the sea.

Downstairs the modern bathroom has shower and bath and underfloor heating.  While outside is a pleasant garden surrounded by fields.

There are three bedrooms. The first has a King size bed, the second a double bed and the third one single bed.

It offers a comfortable dog friendly (One dog please) base for family beach holidays, walking holidays and discovering the secrets of Northumberland.

CHECK IN IS ON FRIDAYS.
